Passion, patience, tradition
We truly believe that authentic French bread needs patience and time to be created. No additives or preservatives in our products, just patience, passion, and know-how. Make good bread takes time. Our bakers are always working on improving our recipes to get this unique French touch that you could not find anywhere else.
Our first goal is to make you discover the traditional French products from natural flours, with a taste, smell and texture as close as if you were in Paris admiring the Eiffel Tower or in a Provence village surrounded by lavender and Petanque players. Come and try it!

About Us
Christian Bonne
Christian is born in 1966 in Paris Suburbs. He was dreaming of adventures and knew he would use his hands to create novelty with passion. After studying as Catering Chef in France, he decided to travel to New Caledonia where he lived for 25 years as an Artisan Builder.
Christian was still eager for new challenges. With his wife and his daughter, they decided to move to Australia to open a French-style bakery.
To achieve this challenge, Christian stopped his Business in New Caledonia and came back to school in France. He chose one of the famous French Bakery School: EFBPA, managed by one of the best French Bread Chef in the world: Christian Vabret. Christian successfully obtained his diploma of Artisan Baker and was ready to start his new challenge in Australia.
Christian used all his knowledge, experience to open the authentic LaVie&Belle Bakery in February 2017.
